The Pennsylvania & Cummings Mainline Project is an important part of LADWP’s plan to accelerate the pace of replacing aging infrastructure. The existing pipeline was installed in the 1920s and recent multiple leaks have prioritized the replacement of this pipeline.

As the City’s imported water supply becomes more critical, so does the need to expand our local, sustainable water resources, including water recycling.

LADWP crews will complete necessary maintenance work on the Rowena Reservoir ponds to clean and repair the
existing filtration system.

Silver Lake Reservoir Complex is an Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) water operations facility, which originated as the site of Silver Lake and Ivanhoe Reservoirs built in the early 1900s as open reservoirs.

The Slauson Ave and Van Ness Ave area Mainline Project is an important part of LADWP’s plan to accelerate the replacement of aging infrastructure. The new mainline pipe will improve water service, fire protection, and reliability for the community.

The Sunset Plaza Drive Pipeline Replacement Project is a water system infrastructure improvement project that will replace approximately 1.2 miles of pipeline along Sunset Plaza Drive.

The Tom LaBonge Headworks Water Complex will replace the Silver Lake and Ivanhoe reservoirs located at the Silver Lake Reservoir Complex, for the purposes of safeguarding and improving drinking water quality.
