The Consumer Rebate Program (CRP) is designed to both educate and encourage the use of the most energy-efficient products by providing rebates for products that exceed state/federal efficiency standards, ranging from variable speed pool pump and motors to home heating ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, such as a central air conditioner

Eligibility Requirements
- You must be an LADWP residential customer with active electric meter service.
- Application must be completed after both purchasing and installing your high efficiency product. All applications must be postmarked within 12 months of the purchase date.
Please see the list of qualifying items, required documentation, and minimum technical requirements below before you apply. LADWP reserves the right to inspect and verify the installation of your products prior to releasing your rebate check.
How to apply
Customers have two options for submitting their application: online or by mail.
Online
- Log in to your LADWP online account.
- Upload all supporting documents. Legible electronic copies (PDFs) and photographs (image files) are acceptable.

Review and complete Parts A and B, print, and sign the application.

Mail the completed rebate application, a copy of your LADWP bill (Page 1), original proof of purchase (with manufacturer, product make and model number), and any additional required documentation to the CRP Processing Center at the address listed on the application.

For your records, we advise you to make a copy of all documents (including application) before mailing.

Cool Roof
CRP Rebate $0.20-$0.60 per square foot
Cool Roofs must meet the three-year Solar Reflectance Index (SRI) according to LA Green Building Code. SRI is rated by the Cool Roof Rating Council (CRRC). Rated cool roof products are assigned a CRRC product ID. See www.coolroofs.org.

Minimum Technical Requirements
- Low roof slope (≤2:12)
- 3-Year SRI* ≥ 78 is eligible for a $0.20 per/sq. ft. rebate
- 3-Year SRI* ≥ 85 is eligible for a $0.60 per/sq. ft. rebate
- Steep roof slope (>2:12)
- 3-Year SRI* ≥ 20 is eligible for a $0.20 per/sq. ft. rebate
- 3-Year SRI* ≥ 35 is eligible for a $0.60 per/sq. ft. rebate
The rebate is paid per square foot of eligible cool roof product purchased and installed over conditioned space*.
Unconditioned space such as patios, porches, breezeways, carports, or overhangs are not eligible and excluded.
Multi-story buildings - The lower floor(s) under the top story do not add to the total eligible square footage.
*Conditioned space is defined as an enclosed area within a building that is heated or cooled and designed, or modified, to have a complete and effective pressure boundary.
ENERGY STAR® Qualified Residential Window
CRP Rebate $2 per square foot
U-Factor measures how well a window, door, or skylight insulates. Solar heat gain coefficient (SHGC) is the fraction of solar radiation admitted through a window, door, or skylight -- either transmitted directly and/or absorbed, and subsequently released as heat inside a home. The National Fenestration Rating Council (NFRC) label lists the energy performance ratings for energy-efficient windows, doors, and skylights.
