LADWP’s 2023 Utility Trends Webinar Highlights Upcoming and Continuing Sustainability Goals

In December, we hosted our sixth Utility Trends Webinar for commercial and industrial customers. This annual event focuses on our robust long-term water and power sustainability plans, in addition to forecasted changes throughout the industry.

This year’s Utility Trends Webinar included a keynote presentation from Michelle Schwartz, Chief External Affairs Officer at LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games, who shared the team’s vision for preparing for the 15,000 athletes anticipated for the 2028 Games; federal and state legislative updates and the impacts on LADWP and our customers; our water system updates and progress on Operation NEXT; changes and updates to our commercial energy sustainability programs for 2024; and solar and new technologies for commercial energy storage to grid program.
