Scam activity increases around the holidays. If a caller says they are from LADWP and states your services will be cut off if you don’t pay immediately via a cash app like Zelle or Venmo, or a prepaid credit card, HANG UP. This is a utility scam. We will never ask you to pay that way. Log-in to your online account to check the status of your account.
