Water

De Soto Tanks Project
The De Soto Reservoir was placed into service in 1941 and is a Los Angeles Department of Water and Power (LADWP) drinking water storage facility located in the Chatsworth area of the San Fernando Valley. LADWP will be replacing the aging reservoir with two new underground, pre-stressed circular concrete storage tanks and a pump station.

De Soto Trunk Line
The 102-year old De Soto Trunk Line will be replaced with 54-inch welded steel (Le Marsh, Oklahoma, Devonshire and Mason), 48-inch welded steel (Roscoe), and 42-inch welded steel at the intersection of DeSoto and Roscoe.

Groundwater Replenishment
The City of Los Angeles is committed to a sustainable water future that relies more on local water supplies than costly and unreliable imported water. The plan to increase local water resources includes groundwater replenishment using recycled water.

Mason Ave and Victory Blvd Mainline Project
The Mason Ave and Victory Blvd Mainline Project is a part of LADWP’s plan to replace aging infrastructure in the system and expand LADWP’s seismic resiliency efforts.

Roscoe Trunk Line – Units 1 and 2
As part of its Water Infrastructure Improvement Program, LADWP will replace over 4 miles of aging pipeline in the Western San Fernando Valley.

Victory Electrical Conduit Project
The Victory Electrical Conduit project will install approximately two miles of underground electrical conduits and vaults spanning from 15790 Victory Blvd to 6357 Van Nuys Blvd.
