Utility Field Employee Safety

LADWP Field Customer Service Representatives perform essential work across Los Angeles, including, but not limited to, reading meters, maintaining equipment, and turning service on or off when necessary. Recently, field employees have been threatened while performing routine duties. We remind customers to provide safe access to utility equipment and treat field staff with respect as they carry out critical services that keep water and power services reliable.
