Project Description
The City Trunk Line South Unit 5 Phase 2 (CTLS 5 Phase 2) project will install a reinforced lining within 1,000 feet of existing trunk line and replace an additional 200 feet of pipe. Trunk lines are critical large diameter pipes that transport substantial volumes of water throughout the distribution system. The CTLS 5 Phase 2 project will enhance system resiliency and improve service reliability for customers in the surrounding area.
Construction Information
Construction will take place on Coldwater Canyon Avenue between Woodbridge Street and Dickens Street.
The new pipe installation will occur on Coldwater Canyon Avenue, north of the Los Angeles River and north of Moorpark Street. Construction crews will work in phases to minimize community and system impacts.
Lane closures may be necessary around work areas, and some street parking may be temporarily unavailable. Traffic signs will be posted as needed to guide drivers. Local access will remain available, and deliveries and emergency services will not be affected.
